For playtests using the Bring Your Own Players feature, you can limit the number of players who can start playing your game.

This way you can both control how many videos you will receive at most, and how many players may be eligible for a reward if you're rewarding players for participating.

Over-recruiting recommended

When playtesting, it is always a good idea to invite more people than you require to allow for people who do not respond. How many extra players you need to decide depends on the level of engagement of your audience and is something you can learn over time as you run playtests on PlaytestCloud.

For example, you can enter 100 emails when setting up the playtest and set the limit of players who can start to 30, ensuring that no more than 30 players will be able to start playing.

Players who aren't amongst the first 30 to participate in your playtest will see a message telling them that the playtest has already been closed.
